Sabouraud Dextrose Agar, Emmons is used for the cultivation of fungi in a laboratory setting. Sabouraud Dextrose Agar, Emmons is not intended for use in the diagnosis of disease or other conditions in humans.
Sabouraud Dextrose Agar (SDA), Emmons is a modification of Dextrose Agar described by Sabouraud. SDA is used for cultivating pathogenic and commensal fungi and yeasts.
